2025 Year in Review
Thanks to all subscribers and readers. Since this substack was launched in April, 2024, we’ve seen a lot of growth in readership. About 90% of subscribers live in the USA, and 1 percent each enjoy life in Italy, the UK, and Canada. There are small numbers of subscribers in other countries including Romania and Russia. The post with the largest number of views in 2025 was on Impartation (1,323 views).
Early in 2025 the Bishop of Columbus asked me to write shorter articles (under 1,000 words) on some of these same topics for our diocesan newspaper. At first I mined posts already published on this substack; later, the process was reversed, so that short newspaper articles were developed into longer substack posts (e.g. the articles on Sozo and The Passion Translation). All of the newspaper articles can be found here.
At the end of 2024, I said I would be writing on the following topics in 2025: moves of God, dreaming with God, modern day apostles, bringing heaven to earth, what is the complete Gospel, intimacy with God, worship. In reality, I published posts on three out of those seven topics, as well as other topics not mentioned in the too-sanguine prediction. I’ve not given up on the other four topics, and a post about modern day apostles should come out early in the New Year (subject to the requirements of the service).
Faithful Reader, while all material is and will remain free of charge, please subscribe so that you don’t miss any content.

Thank you for your posts. I've loved seeing how my research into the NAR has dovetailed with your research which, in turn, has confirmed my perceptions about the movement.
Thanks for all the posts. They have been most informative and well written. God bless your writing in the year ahead. Fr Dominic
